NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON

& AMAZON UK

and NOW on Amazon Kindle

Well - the deed is done and my first novel, Milele Safari - an eternal journey is officially published (in paperback only to start) and on sale as I write!

It'll also be available on other online and bricks and mortar bookstores over the next few weeks as it filters out from Ingrams - ignore the 'out of stock'  notice as it's available on a 'print on demand' basis. I'll try and get the 'look inside' details up over the weekend as well :-)

You can also buy the paperback NOW from me direct for a special reduced price (£10 - є12 EUR - $16.25 USD -  $17.95 AUD) - PM me for Paypal details with your real name and postal address and I'll put in the order with the printers to deliver direct to you on receipt

Have added a link to the blog to my Yahoo signature - do you have an Academia page, it's worth getting one now if not.  And once sales take off, or even now, explore Society of Authors membership - it gives free membership of the Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society which tracks down money you are owed.  Not certain how helpful they can be with POD/electronic but worth exploring.

Our POD's linked to Ingrams distribution network (so to Amazon et al) so all sales go through the Lightning Source payment engine and deposits our mark up direct to the DWP account! boing!

In theory it's self policing but we'll hold that thought until we see it in action... That may not be until January as a lot of potentials are saying they'll wait until the e-version comes out Stern Smile

Still, Academia can be good publicity I seem to get a lot of hits (some things link to full text but some I just give biblio details of).

ALCS always seems to send me money for photocopying (!) - topped £100 last year, and it usually covers the sub to SoA.

Still, as you say, laters Smile

Another landmark achieved!

Ding... Ding... Round 3!

OK - so I'm thick and can't read FAQs Dead

My distributor for both print and eBooks are a subsidiary company with the biggest book distributors in the world - Ingrams. So they have a number of FAQs on their online POD business procedures including a very impressive one about their distribution partners such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Book Depository and other bookstore luminaries around the world...

Book Rabbit needs to hop a bit faster, I can't get registered - but once I do that'll be another place to post my review. Big smile

Thanks Fuin - there's nothing to beat seeing your 'baby' in print! Smile

Have a look in on our sister site DreamWorlds Publishing (this forum kind of straddles the two areas). Also at this thread for our anthology project - this is now going into an active phase as we have a half dozen stories for it so I'm trying to sign up anyone who's got a short story in them that they'd like published as an in house project (so we share costs to get it processed and out there using our ISBNs and Lightning Source International (Ingrams) resources) Tongue

OK - The Omnivore article's up and running HERE  - was a great experience and the guys at TO are lovely to work with even though I had to pay an admin fee (£30) but as subscription to their newsletter is free that's a great investment and the site's a great place to reach discerning readers Tongue

Have plastered it all over my FB Twitter and LinkedIn haunts so  its all grist to the PR mill Wink
